Old thread but for those seeking the same advice. Warm water in a spray bottle mixed with a little dish soap. Use a paint scraper type razor blade. They key is to keep it very wet as you use the blade. Alcohol, goof off, and goo gone mostly just smears it and is very difficult.
Top that with plastic film or a trash bag, and secure the edges. Now allow the mixture to bake (full sunlight or lamps) for 45 minutes or so. Times will vary with the materials, etc. After the ammonia has permeated the film, it should peel off pretty much in one sheet. Wash well and you're done.
